Dear Band together, Calderdale Liberal Democrats have a proud history of campaigning for local services and this local hospital. Dr Bob Heys was involved in CASH (Calderdale Against a Smaller Hospital) when the hospital built was smaller than its predecessor. The late Stephen Pearson a former Calderdale Councillor led a vocal campaign against the awful PFI deal that has saddled the hospital with debt. Personally speaking I owe my life to the NHS whose surgeons saved me from a melanoma, as does my son who was born in the local hospital. I thought we needed a cross-party and inclusive campaign ...

People often criticise politicians for sniping, instead of working together to solve problems. The Guardian reports: The top European court has backed the "right to be forgotten" and said Google must delete "inadequate, irrelevant or no longer relevant" data from its results when a member of the public requests it.Is this workable? Will judges' idea of what is relevant be the same as that of the wider public? And, most importantly, will it be members of the public who make most use of this power? The press release from the Court of Justice of the European Union that accompanies the judgment does allow for the idea that those in power should find it ...
